O’Sax Minis is a foundational beach volleyball program for athletes ages 8–12 who are ready to build skills and begin understanding how the game is played. Training focuses on movement, basic volleyball techniques, and applying skills in simple game situations — all in a fun, supportive environment. Minis helps athletes grow their confidence on the sand while learning how to train and compete. Program Includes • 1 coach-led session per week (60 minutes) • Continued development of movement and sand skills • Introduction to passing, setting, attacking, and defense • Modified gameplay to introduce teamwork and decision-making • Coaching that encourages effort, confidence, and curiosity Program Details • Ages: 8–12 • Season: July • Length: 4 weeks • Location: Sax Centre outdoor beach courts • Cost: $80 CAD
Cancellation Policy
Purpose O’Saxman Beach Club, The Sax Centre, and the National Beach Volleyball League are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all players , coaches, staff, parents/guardians, and spectators. Code of Conduct All participants, including parents and guardians, are expected to: • Treat players, coaches, officials, staff, and spectators with respect • Display good sportsmanship at all times • Follow all club rules, facility guidelines, and staff instructions Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, or disruptive behavior by players or parents/guardians will not be tolerated. Attendance & Participation • Players are expected to arrive on time and be prepared to participate • Parents/guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up of minors • Repeated absences or late arrivals may result in reduced playing time or removal from sessions Safety & Responsibility • Players participate at their own risk • Injuries must be reported to a coach or staff member immediately • Parents/guardians are responsible for informing the appropriate personnel of any medical conditions, allergies, or concerns • Proper footwear, hydration, and sun protection are strongly encouraged Payments & Refunds • All program fees must be paid in full prior to participation • Refunds or credits for programs are subject the discretion of the program administrator and may not be available once programs have begun • Please contact us in the event of extreme circumstances Cancellations • All cancellations are subject to a processing fee of $25.00 Gear & Merchandise • All gear and merchandise sales are final sale • Sizes and items cannot be changed or adjusted after orders are submitted • No refunds or exchanges will be issued for gear under any circumstances Media & Photography • Athletes and parents/guardians acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken during practices, training sessions, and tournaments • Media may be used for purposes such as website, social media, and promotional materials • Athletes may opt out of having their image used on the website or social media by notifying a member of staff in writing • Photographers and videographers will still be present during sessions, and complete avoidance of media capture cannot be guaranteed Policy Enforcement Failure by a player or parent/guardian to comply with these policies may result in warnings, suspension, or removal from the club without refund.
