Levels of Competition: Two Ways Athletes Can Participate In NBVL
In 2026, the NBVL introduced a two-tier entry process to ensure the highest level of competition in the Feature League and new opportunities for community participation through V-League.
Level 1 — Register & Compete In The NBVL V-League
This traditional doubles league is tiered from recreational to competitive levels of play and will run alongside the NBVL Feature League. V-League acts as the entry point for all NBVL athletes.

Level 2 — Enter Qualifier Tournaments & Compete For NBVL Feature Team Placement
Pairs looking to compete as one of the NBVL's featured teams will register for one or more qualification tournaments.

Qualifier tournaments happening May 9, 10, & 16
Eight pairs per gender that advance through the qualifying process will make up the featured teams in the 2026 NBVL season.
